GENERAL MANAGER & FOOD TOURS GUIDE IN PARIS
Business school graduate with a Master’s degree in International Sales, Carole worked as an export sales manager for major groups, before creating LA ROUTE DES GOURMETS in 2012. With a passionate interest in gastronomy and a reputation for being very gourmet, she obtained a master’s degree in food Geography from the Sorbonne University and became a guide at Rungis Market. Carole manages the agency, creates tailor-made tours and guides with great enthusiasm, mainly students and corporate groups. Carole also gives regular lectures at universities on the concept of Food tourism.
Marion
FOOD TOURS GUIDE IN PARIS
Originally from Toulouse, Marion always has a zest for life! Bubbly and always in a good mood, Marion graduated from a business school and began her career in the hotel and restaurant business within the Ducasse Group. Marion is a true Parisian foodie who spends her days scouting out the best addresses! She also has a degree in wine, and hosts wine tastings in English. She also offers restaurant concierge services, collaborates with famous Parisian butchers, and runs audio podcasts dedicated to top chefs!
Valérie
FOOD TOURS GUIDE IN PARIS AND TEACHER
Valérie’s background is striking and original: trend stylist in luxury and fashion, Valérie teaches trends and innovations in hotel, culinary arts, and luxury schools. Passionate about French gastronomy and the luxury industry, she even ran her own delicatessen shop in Paris for several years! Full of color and vitality, Valérie enchants us with her creativity! Valérie is also very generous, as she volunteers actively for the charity Pâtisseries solidaires.
Mathieu
FOOD TOUR GUIDE IN PARIS, RESTAURANT OWNER AND INSTAGRAMMER
Mathieu is a true Swiss Army knife! A former scriptwriter and producer, Mathieu left everything behind to follow his passion and become a restaurant owner in Paris for several years. He is now a full-time guide. He knows everything there is to know about the history of Paris and is a great specialist in French cheeses and vineyards! In addition, he produces editorial contents and videos for major food brands, highlighting the history of food products.
Our objectives
- Highlighting the cultural, gastronomic and oenological heritage of France.
- Presenting French culinary traditions in an original way by examining them as part of their geographical landscape, a time period or an artistic movement.
- Teaching, in a hands-on and memorable way, the history of the products we eat every day, their origins, transformation, and their evolution over time.
- Broadening your palate during our workshops and gourmet tastings walks.
- Leading us to a personal and collective reflection, as consumers, about our consumption habits.
